Colman´s Mustard

When my London galllery Plus One asked me for a solo show last year, the first thing that did spring in mind was a Colman´s Mustard. It is in my view an iconic British image. It is not only the shape, but also the coloring.

The main colors for this piece were found in Holland though. In a centuries old house in Loenen aan de Vecht in the middle of the country. The old yellows are from a wall, the light brown parts from the ceilings....
