China Baby

Over 50 inches high, partially done in wood from Shanghai China. The wood was not salvaged by me, but by Huib and Marieke, who live in China. They brought the wood over in two trips to my workshop in Holland. The wood is mainly from the old parts of Shanghai. parts that are being torn down for new offices.

Old wood for a new era: a baby who is looking into the future with an open mind.
