China Girl

A large piece: over 150 centimeters high, also done in Shanghai wood.

I love the paradox in this lady: she is definitey a modern Chinese girl, but wearing an old fashioned Mao cap. In encountred this girl in a book about China. The picture was taken by the well known American photographer Jack Hollingsworth, who generously let me use his creation as a reference for my piece.
